REOPENING STRATEGY PHASE 1 – PREPARATION PHASE DETAILS

The first phase of reopening is a preparation phase. In this phase, steps are taken to ensure residents’ physical safety and to mitigate financial risk. In an effort to reopen amenities as soon as possible, the Board has been working through the steps for Phase 1 during the course of May and completed them in the first week of June 2020. Below are the highlights of what these efforts entailed:

  • Create reopening plan and obtain HOA counsel approval
  • Order signage for safety notices, modified rules, and social distancing
  • Secure a new and enhanced cleaning and sanitation vendor contract
  • Perform a deep cleaning and sanitization of playgrounds, pool furniture, bathrooms, pool house hallway and high-touch surfaces
  • Install sanitization stations (wipes or sanitizer) at the pool and playgrounds
  • Install safety signage and other social distancing markers
  • Purchase and install additional trash cans. Remove lids from existing trash cans.
  • Arrange pool furniture and apply ground markers for social distancing standards.
  • Organize volunteers to monitor and report on success of social distancing measures
  • Create a web-based form for volunteers to submit monitoring reports.

Cleaning Solutions

As of June 1, 2020 until otherwise adjusted, Mabel Bridge HOA has established enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures for the pool area, including pool furniture and restrooms. Information on the products being used to service these areas is provided here for your information.
