LakesideVilllagePark Meeting Feb 29

A new neighborhood park will be built on Village Lake Road at Lake Spar (near the Lakeside Village Publix shopping center). Last year, Commissioner Scott Boyd held a public meeting where he and members of the Orange County Parks Department asked residents for input on what amenities they would like to have at the park. Additionally, the community was surveyed for their input.

There’s another community meeting on Feb 29th about the new Lakeside Village Park. You are encouraged to join Commissioner Boyd and your neighbors for a discussion of the development of Lakeside Village Park Feb 29th 6-7pm at Tibet-Butler Preserve. Please RSVP and direct questions to parks@ocfl.net.

Holiday Events Recap and Home Decorating Contest Winner

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first winter holiday event at Mabel Bridge on Sunday, December 20th!

We had a great time watching Santa travel through the community on the fire truck, and we enjoyed handing out treats to neighbors and friends. We hope you had a great time too!

We would live to give an extra special thanks to Santa and the wonderful men and women from Orange County Fire & Rescue for the time they generously spent with our community.

And last but certainly not least…

Thank you to all the families who participated in the holiday home decorating contest. You and everyone who decorated have made Mabel Bridge extra beautiful this holiday season! The winning household was on Thatcher Ave. They have decided they will donate the $25 gift card to support Second Harvest Food bank on behalf of Mabel Bridge!
